This Energy Park will feature several high-performance containerised battery storage systems, along with a Data Centre. The battery park will offer storage for renewable energy sources like solar and wind from the National Grid network.
The Data Centre will, in return, establish a cutting-edge facility aimed at rejuvenating this part of Cardiff by introducing advanced technology that will boost Cardiff’s economy, Wales, and the entire UK. This energy park will have an impressive 1,000MW of battery storage, ranking it among the world’s largest battery storage facilities!
